i-education engaged with the NCETM to appraise the role of new technologies to support mathematics teaching and learning.

The National Centre for Excellence in the Teaching of Mathematics provides effective strategic leadership for mathematics-specific CPD. It aims to raise the professional status of all those engaged in the teaching of mathematics so that the mathematical potential of learners will be fully realised.

Work with the NCETM includes:

• Presenting and supporting a number of regional network and subject learning coaches meetings
• Running workshops on the use of digital video and technologies in mathematics teaching and learning
• Creating digital resources for the More Maths Grads 'Maths at Work' project. Click here for more information
