i-education were employed to create a engaging learning environment for disaffected students. The brief was to incorporate enterprise into the environment.

Here's the scenario we created: A student logs into the system and finds themselves in a run down lounge area. The student studies the lesson content (KS3 and KS4) in the system which gives them 'enterprise points.' These points can only be spent on developing their virtual enterprise (multiple to choose from). The better the enterprise runs, the more money the student earns to enhance their living area or to embark upon 'experiences' in the form of games. The message for students being 'the harder you try at school, the better your grades, the more likely you are to succeed in your work life. The better you perform in your work life, the more likely you are to live in better surroundings and experience new and interesting things.
