Balby Carr Community Sports College: Analysis of Performance PDA Project

i-education have enjoyed a close and sound relationship with Balby Carr Community Sports College. In order to support curriculum innovation in the specialism, i-education were engaged to look at the role of new technologies to enhance the current provision. The result was to support a roll out of handheld mobile devices which could be used 'in-context' for sport. The primary focus was analysis of performance and mobile learning content was developed providing video and supporting text across multiple levels and sports to enable a student to analyse a peers performance learn how to improve. The content was also used as a means of standardisation.

Balby Carr Community Sports College noticed measurable improvement after implementing I am learning. The video's included here show the Headmaster, Head of Year 11 and two Year 11 students.
